G’day! I’m Chrissie, a.k.a. Christine Baydogan when things get official.
I’m an Art Director and designer who leads creative ideas from strategy through to execution, creating connected brand, digital and campaign experiences. I’ve been doing this since 2008 across agencies, in-house teams and freelance, so I know how to think big, get hands-on, and keep things moving without overcomplicating it.
Most projects I jump on, don’t start out polished. They start as rough ideas, mixed directions, or a bit of “we’ll know it when we see it.” I actually like that part. Figuring out what’s working, what isn’t, and where an idea needs to go is usually where the good stuff is. It’s not just about a logo or a layout, but how everything connects and carries through.
I’ve worked across Australia and spent close to seven years in Europe, mainly in Berlin and Mallorca. That time threw me into plenty of unfamiliar territory, pushing me to rethink how I communicate, adapt quickly, and solve WTF moments on the fly. Those weren’t side notes, they were the process, and they’ve shaped how I approach every project now.
These days, I’m working at Superloop, helping refresh the internet with a pretty good crew. Same approach as always: take ideas, make them real, make them better.
That’s how I work, somewhere between strategy and execution. Building the big-picture direction, then getting hands-on to bring it to life. Thinking, making, refining, and figuring it out until everything clicks.
Feel free to have a look around. I’ve got a blend for every flavour.

HOW I ROLL
I enjoy both the thinking and the making. I back good people, give credit where it’s due, and step in when needed.
HOW MY BRAIN TICKS
DISCOVERY
This is where I get under the hood. I ask questions, dig into what’s already there, and figure out what actually matters. Sometimes research, sometimes conversations, sometimes pulling apart what you think you want versus what you actually need. The goal is simple: clarity before we start making things.
CREATIVE STRATEGY
This is where direction takes shape. I take everything from discovery and turn it into something usable: the why, the who, and the what we’re actually building. Less grand plan, more clear lane so things don’t drift.
ART DIRECTION
This is where it becomes visual. I set the tone for how everything looks and feels, from layout and typography through to photography and video. Making sure it all speaks the same language instead of competing ideas.
BRANDING
This is the system behind it all. I build identities that can stretch and grow without falling apart. Not just a logo, but how the whole thing holds together across different applications and platforms.
EXPERIENCE DESIGN
This is how the brand gets used. Digital, print, environments, whatever the touchpoints are, I focus on how it feels to interact with it and how consistent it stays without becoming rigid.
ROLLOUT
Once it’s built, it needs to land properly. I hand over assets that are ready to go, not half-baked files. And if needed, I stay close to support implementation so it doesn’t fall apart after launch.
I find it’s better to give it a crack, and it fails, than be trapped in the limbo of “what if”.
KIND WORDS
Bloody nice work, Chrissie — a great showcase of your creative thinking!!! Some really powerful creative ideas, and we also really appreciated your positivity and proactivity throughout the term. Thank you for being the person who always spoke up and asked questions, and helped everyone feel comfortable. It’s a great quality to have.

I first met Christine while she was completing her design course.
I offered Christine freelance work while I was the Creative Director at Toto and then introduced her to my agency, Dada Marketing. During the time Christine worked with us she was catapulted headlong into a plethora of design and production projects exposing her to many creative, design and production challenges.
In short Christine was being offered the opportunity to be a dare-devil tight-rope walker, sans safety net, above a pool of unfed sharks in a full force gale.
Christine never flinched once however she did eventually fall only to quickly realise something I saw in her from the very beginning, she can fly.
Christine hasn’t stopped flying since.

I first worked with Chrissie in Berlin. She created our website: (https://start-a-factory.com/). The cooperation was absolutely great. All ideas were implemented quickly, she has great ideas of her own and is an incredibly likeable person. Thanks a lot!

We wanted a logo with a touch of modernism. Chrissie understood our needs and designed an exceptional logo. She is incredibly sharp and a rigorous designer with a high level of professionalism and integrity, which we greatly appreciated – happy to recommend!
— Jason Henderson – Owner & Managing Director | Integrity Lounge Designs
I would highly recommend Chrissie if anyone were to ask a question about graphic design. My first words are: “Have you seen Chrissie’s designs?” Chrissie has been nothing but professional. She came up with the design I wanted without me having to give her all the nitty-gritty details. (Before approaching Chrissie, I booked another designer and gave them an abundance of information and got nothing close to what I wanted and found that they were a waste of money!)
Chrissie’s first design was spot-on. Best money I’ve ever spent! I could go on for ages, but all you need to know is that if you want anything to do with graphic design, Chrissie is your designer. Don’t waste your money or time with anyone else.
— Mark Van Itallie – Managing Director | Design My Budget
I was blown away by the fantastic work she produced. Chrissie is very professional, and I will definitely work with her in the future. I highly recommend her for all your graphic design needs.
