SUMOLIGHT has been in the film and broadcasting industry for years developing and manufacturing professional lighting products for the motion picture and television industry. Their high-quality luminaries and products utilise conventional LED technology for professional use and are all produced in Berlin, Germany.
I worked with the development team on a real-time, App inspired controller for SUMOSPACE– the ground-breaking lighting system for Gaffers on set.
Its primary role is to provide controllable settings at hand. These settings are organised by Intensity, Colour Temperature, DMX Address, and all relevant information and parameters together with it’s running capacity. Furthermore, users can track and apply custom settings to specified DMX Addresses for pairing to multiple devices.
With the SUMOSPACE Controller, it’s easy to control lighting environments on set. The Controller gives you access to all the information about every SUMOSPACE device.
Other Controller Apps are littered with every cumbersome formatting and option imaginable. Our team set out to create a product that was defined by its simplicity. We embraced the idea that lighting was the core experience on set so we made the decision to remove as much clutter as possible to allow the user to focus on… Light.
